Ref. 7600U/000G-B226
Showcasing several new techniques, the latest Vacheron Constantin’s Métiers d’Art collection draws inspiration from astrology. Twelve laser-engraved zodiac signs form a sky chart on the dial, with a hand-engraved Earth orbiting around the gold sun in the centre. A cut-out hand marks the hours, with a solid for the minutes. The mechanism requires only one correction in 8,000 years. Power reserve for 34 hours. Water resistance 30 metres.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic Tourbillon
Universal Time Watch
Ref. 8126420
Jaeger-LeCoultre introduces the flying tourbillon, which allows for the 24 time zones around the world to be read simultaneously. Grey continents float over the surface of the blue dial, with major cities marked in red and blue around the outer dial rim. A Gyrolab balance-equipped tourbillon is displayed at five o’clock, with a non-circular structure that reduces air friction to ensure utmost accuracy. All settings are adjustable with only one crown. Power reserve 48 hours. Water resistance to 50 metres. Available in a limited series of 100 pieces.

Ref. PAM00700
Panerai LAB-ID Luminor 1950 harnesses the technological potential of carbotech: a composite material based on carbon fiber. Durable and functional, carbotech shows varying shades of black, making each watch unique. The dial has a coating of carbon nanotubes to absorb light and give the dial an intensely deep-black appearance. The movement can run for 50 years with no need for lubrication. The blue-coloured luminous substance ensures the watch’s excellent visibility and legibility. 72-hour power reserve. 100-metre water resistance. Unique edition of 50 pieces.

Cartier Ronde Louis Watch

For SIHH 2017, Cartier’s iconic panther gets a fresh spin in flamed gold. Inspired by the method of bluing watch hands with flame, the technique involves colour change through heating, requiring masterful handling of intense heat and precise temperatures in order to produce a spectrum of colours: the hottest flame produces a shade of blue; the coolest, beige. The watch contains Cartier’s most remarkable movement, with complicated functions such as astrorégulateur, a minute repeater and flying tourbillon. Water-resistant to 30 metres. Limited edition of 30 individually numbered pieces.
